Irish Whiskey Chilli

It's chilly outside and the Sunday blues have hit. Have a heart warming and comforting whiskey chilli by throwing these ingredients into a slow cooker or pot for 6 hours, and put your feet up for the rest of the day.


- 60g Butter

- 2 Peppers

- 1 Large Pepper

- 700g Lean Mince

- 2 x 400g Kidney Beans

- 550g Tomato Passata

- 30g Tomato Puree

- 35g chilli powder (heat is your preference)

- 28g dark chocolate grated

- Tsp salt

- 17g sugar

- 160ml Whiskey


- Pot OR Slow Cooker

- Wooden Spoon

Step 1

- Add onion, pepper and beef to a pan and brown slightly

Step 2

- Add the rest of the ingredients into the pot OR slow cooker

- Add veg and Beef

Step 3

- If using a pot cook on a low heat for 6 hours


- If using a slow cooker cook on low for 6 hours
